Over the years, many of my faithful readers have pleaded with me to provide them with The Appropriate Translation. Well brothers and sisters in Jesus Christ, here is the first addition. It takes me many hours to retranslate, and I only do so as applicable to studies or articles I am researching.
This is a literal, expanded, and emphasized translation. Words {bracketed} are not in the original language, but added for readability, but within reasonable translation rules. The (parenthesis words) reflect the original languages and their meanings, but formatted this way for specification.
I recommend you save this file as a Microsoft Word file, and add new verses as you see them in my studies posted online. Some of you may find some scriptures online in studies that are not listed here, and if so, please inform me, so I can update this version.
Enjoy and God bless! Craigo

from (forgiven) him, not even in this Messianic age nor in that about to be
suffered.” TAT

correct and applicable.
Matthew 28:19 Therefore, go from one place to another making disciples of all the races and non-Jewish (Gentile) tribes, submerging and overwhelming them into the belief, profession and observance of the name, for the purpose of knowing the character & authority of the Father, and of the son, and of the consecrated life (toú Hagíou Pneúmatos).” TAT

Author’s Note on John 1:1-5: Because of the controversy foisted by proponents of the doctrine of the trinity, I have provided some additional information concerning John 1:1 thru John 1:5, including some of the Greek-to-English translation tools, a comparison to the King James Version of the text, and three different formats in which these verses of scripture are rendered. The bottom line is simplicity and while I do not consider my translation to be perfect, with confidence I say it is simple and conveys the heart of what the apostle John wrote. Once completed, The Appropriate Translation was then compared to no less than twelve translations for its viability with regard to the choice of words used and there was consistency in nearly every case. No Bible translation is perfect or inerrant because God entrusts His word into the hands of fallible man. I am certainly open to correction and instruction by those whose views are more in conformity with those of the Father.

Everyone was being drawn through {this message}; however, none of those being

John 1:12 Yet as many make him their own, to them he gives the
right to become children of God, even to those who are believing in his name,
John 1:13 who were (past tense) begotten (gennao), not of blood
nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God. TAT
John 1:14 So then it came about that the experiential knowledge
{of him} was expressed in {our} human flesh, pitching a tent in us, and we give
careful, deliberate consideration to interpret the vision of his glory, a glory
as of an only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth. TAT
John 1:15 John was testifying all over about him and cried
saying, "This is he of whom I said, 'He who is coming after me has come to
be in front of me, for his rank is higher than mine.'" TAT
John 1:16 For of that which filled him we all {have} obtained
and grace for grace. TAT
John 1:17 For the Law through Moses was given; grace and truth
came through Jesus Christ. TAT
John 1:18 No one has ever seen God; the only begotten (hoos
monogenoús) Magistrate, Ruler, & Judge (Theos) who IS (presently) in the
bosom of the Father, he unfolds Him. TAT
John 1:33 "Even I myself did not see and recognize him, but contrary (to my own natural perception), the one that dispatched me to immerse in water, the same one said to me, 'Upon whosoever you see, (and know from the past), the Spirit descending and remaining upon him, the same person he is that overwhelms and influences {you} with a morally blameless life.'" TAT
John 7:37 But in the final day, the big festival, Jesus stood and called aloud, saying, "If any person thirsts, come toward me and imbibe. TAT
John 7:38 He that trusts in me, just as the scripture has said, ‘Out of his heart a flowing current of drinkable, living water shall flow.'" TAT
John 7:39 But this he spoke of the locality of the spirit, which they that entrust {themselves into the purpose of} him should take hold of; because {the} spirit did not yet exist because Jesus was not yet glorified. TAT
John 14:16 And I will request the Father that he grant you a different (another of equal quality) one called to your side (to aid) existing for the purpose of accompanying you into the age. TAT
John 7:17 {even} the spirit the truth, whom the inhabitants of this world, with its’ disposition {ungodly mindset}, cannot possibly take hold of, because it {the world} does not know or look closely enough (with an interest) to acknowledge him {the spirit of Jesus} and his purpose. You recognize (are acquainted with and love) him because he is a person living near you always, and in the future will exist in you. TAT
John 14:25 These things I have spoken to you while staying near (in proximity) to you. TAT
John 14:26 But the one called alongside you, the morally blameless spirit, whom the Father will dispatch (on temporary errand) in the name (character, authority and reputation) of me, that one shall instruct (teach) you all manner of things (pertaining to the sum of all my teachings) and shall remind quietly, by hinting or suggesting to the one's own memory, (to aid in gaining a mental grasp; i.e. recollection; by implication to reward or punish), the whole of everything I have said to you. TAT
John 14:27 A state of prevailing peace (quiet or tranquility; freedom from disturbance or agitation) I shall send forth (from myself) to you. My prevailing peace I give to you; not in the {same} manner the world {with its disposition} gives, do I give unto you. Don’t let your heart be stirred up, agitated or troubled nor {be} timid (afraid). TAT
John 14:28 You have heard how I said to you, ‘I go away (out of sight) and {then} come toward you. If you loved me (and continued doing so) {I} supposed you would {have been} cheerful, because I go from here toward the Father, because the Father is greater and more than my existence. TAT
John 14:29 And now I have said it to you prior to it being generated (coming into existence), the result being that whenever it is generated (comes into existence) you might give credence to it {and} be firmly persuaded to entrust yourself to {it}. TAT
John 15:26 As often and repeatedly as the one called alongside appears, whom I will dispatch (on temporary errand) to you from the immediate vicinity (i.e. – the presence of) the Father, {that is} the spirit, the truth, (the unveiled reality lying at the basis of and agreeing with an appearance of divine truth), who, being near to the Father, comes forth out of {Him} as the source. That one shall bear witness concerning me (witness = one who, by his death, bears witness to the truth). TAT
John 16:7 However, I recount the unconcealed truth to you; it is for your benefit {and} purpose I go away; because if, for any reason, I do not go away, the one called alongside will not come toward you. However, provided I traverse (upward), I will dispatch him (on temporary errand) toward you. TAT
John 16:13 But whenever that one, the spirit of unconcealed truth comes, {he} will lead you on the road {that leads} into the whole embodiment of unconcealed truth, because he shall not utter words at random {like someone who is} separated from {God} himself; on the contrary, as much as he hears {from God} (depending on the circumstances), he will lay forth; and he will announce (with intensity or repetition) to you things coming. TAT
John 16:14 That one {the consecrated spirit} shall give esteem to {my} honorable position {with the Father}, for out of that which is mine, he shall take hold of, and make it known to you. TAT
John 16:15 The whole {kingdom of believers}, as much as the Father holds (in His possession), they are mine; I said, ‘That thing {the parakletos}, through which things are channeled, he shall take hold of that which comes out of (from) me and make {it} known to you. TAT
John 20:22 And this thing he said, emphasizing it, and laying it forth to them in a speech, "Get hold of a morally blameless life." TAT
Acts 1:16 "Brethren, the Scripture had to be fulfilled, which the sacred (consecrated) spirit foretold by the mouth of David concerning Judas. TAT
Acts 2:2 And unexpectedly there came out of the sky a loud noise exactly like the moving, forcible wind and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. TAT
Acts 2:3 And they gazed at languages in distribution {among them} as though it were {like} fire {so unusual was it}, and it settled around each one of them. TAT
Acts 2:4 And they were all wholly drenched in an undefiled spirit, and, as first in order, {in the church}, {they} commenced uttering (at random) words of a different kind {of} language, just as the spirit was giving them {the ability} to enunciate clearly. TAT
Acts 2:33 "Therefore having been exalted to the right hand of God, and having received from the Father the promise of the consecrated spirit (toú Pneúmatos toú Hagíou) He has poured forth this which you both see and hear. TAT
Acts 2:38 The Peter made known his thoughts saying to them, “Exercise your minds to think differently, (having sorrow and a change of heart toward God), and each one of you be immersed (submerged) in the authority and character of the name of Jesus (Joshua; Yah who saves) Christ (anointed & consecrated to serve), for the purpose of pardon for your sins, and you shall take hold of the gratuity (a gift given of one’s own free will) of the sacred (morally blameless) life (spirit).” TAT
Acts 2:39 Therefore the pledge of divine assurance (promise) is for you and for your children and to all in distant places, as many as the Lord our God shall invite to Himself. TAT
Acts 4:25 “That one, through the mouth of our father David, your servant and child, who, through an undefiled and consecrated life (Pneúmatos Hagíou), said, “For what reason do pagan nations gush forth in rage and peoples meditate on things that result in nothing?” TAT
Acts 11:24 Because he was a good man and complete, having an undefiled life (spirit) and moral conviction…TAT
Acts 20:28 Give preeminent attention toward yourselves and the whole flock in whom the sanctified spirit {of Jesus} has placed you {to act} as a watchman over {it}; to shepherd the called out ones (i.e. – the church) of God, which he has acquired for himself through his own blood. TAT
Roman 5:5 And this hope (anticipation) does not disgrace by making the face blush, because the affection of God is poured out of, while remaining in a place of rest in our hearts, {for the purpose of} being set apart for service through an undefiled life freely bestowed upon us. TAT
Romans 8:9 But, you yourselves, your state of existence is not such that you remain in moral weakness; on the contrary, {you exist} in spiritual {strength; pneumati}; if believably, the Spirit (Pneuma) of God resides in you. But if anyone does not continue holding to the spirit (pneuma) of Christ, he does not exist as belonging to Him (God). TAT
Romans 8:10 But if Christ is in you, {though} the former body is dead through the act of sin, yet the spirit (pneuma) is alive through equitable (just & right) character. TAT
Romans 8:11 But if the spirit (pneuma) of Him who roused up Jesus from a corpse, resides within you, He who roused up Christ from a corpse will also revitalize your mortal bodies through His Spirit (pneumatos) who occupies you as a place of settled residence. TAT
Romans 8:12 Certainly then, brethren, we are morally indebted, not to the flesh, to spend {our} existence living with a tendency towards the physical and moral weakness— TAT
Romans 8:13 Because if you live with a tendency towards the flesh, your expectation should be to die off; but if spiritually (pneumati) you are killing the habitual practices of the body, you will live. TAT
Romans 8:14 For as many as are being led spiritually (pneumati) by God, these exist as sons of God. TAT
Romans 8:15 For, just like you did in times past, you have NOT taken hold of a spirit (pneuma) of slavery by returning back to a former state, resulting in fear; but on the contrary, you have actively taken hold of a spirit (pneuma), to be placed as sons, {by} remaining in a position, in which we {are qualified to} call aloud, “MY Father!" TAT
Romans 8:16 The spirit (pneuma) itself testifies jointly (i.e. - corroborating in union together by the use of concurrent evidence) with our spirit (pneumati) that we are children of God, TAT
Romans 8:19 For the intense anticipation of the original creation (of mankind) fully expects the disclosure of the sons of God. TAT
Romans 8:20 For the original creation (of mankind) was subjected to moral depravity, not by coercion, but through the one {God} who placed it in a position of being subjected {to it}, {because He} desired that some good {would come of it}, having the expectation of obtaining {it} TAT
Romans 8:21 also, because the original creation itself will be liberated and left unrestrained, to go as they please, away from the slavery of ruin into the legitimate moral freedom, {consistent with} the reputation of the children of God. TAT
Romans 8:22 For we are aware that the whole original creation experiences a common calamity and experiences pain together simultaneously, sympathizing {with each other} in the expectation of relief from {the} suffering up to the present time. TAT
Romans 8:23 And not merely this, but also ourselves, holding {as our} continued possession, the beginnings of the work of the spirit (pneumatos), even we ourselves, being squeezed and pressed by circumstances, sigh within ourselves (like persons in distress and affliction whose prayer is inaudible), watching for with full expectation {the} adoption (being legally placed) as sons; {to wit} riddance (deliverance; a setting free; as riddance from all adversity) of our whole {earthly, fleshly} body. TAT
Romans 8:26 And in the same way the spirit (pneuma) helps by taking hold of the moral weakness in us, because we do not know precisely (as needed) what thing we should wish or pray for that is most important. However, the spirit (pneuma) itself intercedes (acts as a mediator) for or in behalf of inaudible (impossible to hear) prayer, which cannot be expressed in words. TAT
Romans 8:27 But the one who investigates the seat of the desires, feelings, affections, passions, and impulses, (of the heart or mind) sees, with perception, what the result of the mindset of the spirit (pneumatos) is, because, {coming} down from God, {he} meets and talks with {Him} on behalf and for the benefit and protection of the sanctified ones. TAT
Romans 9:1 Truth (reality) I lay forth {to you} as {I} remain in a fixed position of rest in Christ (the anointed one); I do not attempt to deceive {you} by means of falsehood, {on the contrary} my conscience is backed up (established) with concurrent evidence, which is an undefiled life. TAT
Romans 14:17 Indeed the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking; on the contrary, {it is} equity of character and (joint) peace and {the kind of} calm delight {which is} derived from being in a relation of rest together stemming from a morally blameless life. TAT
1 Corinthians 2:10 “But unto us the God has uncovered (disclosed) it (the hidden wisdom) through the spirit, because the (human) spirit inquires about (investigates) all things (pertaining to their quality), even the secret unrevealed purposes of God. TAT
1 Corinthians 2:11 For who among men knows the thoughts of a man except the man's spirit within him? In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. TAT
1 Corinthians 2:12 We have not taken hold of the spirit of the world, but rather, the spirit that has its origin proceeding out of or from God, in order that we may understand the things that have come forth from God, granted as a favor to us. TAT
1 Corinthians 2:13 The things we speak, not in words taught by (natural) human wisdom but in words taught by the (human) spirit, judging spiritual things in connection with spiritual words.” TAT
Ephesians 1:13-14 In whom you also, having a relationship of rest, after you heard with attentiveness, the discourse of truth, the good news of your deliverance, having also trusted, your life was authenticated by offering {yourself} for consecrated service; which is given as a security deposit of our possession, in anticipation of its full redemption and our complete acquiring of it--to the praise of His glory. TAT
Ephesians 2:18 For through him {Jesus} (with his help) we both hold in our possession access to an audience with the Father, that has been granted to us by one in a position of high rank, whose aid and intervention comes {to us} in the authority (power) and under the influence of one spirit; one in whom we enjoy a relationship of rest. TAT
Ephesians 4:30 And do not bring sorrow to the sanctified life, to the magistrate, in whom you remain in a fixed position of rest, preserved into a time of deliverance from the sting of death. TAT
Philippians 2:6 Who, coming into existence, in visible form, {while still} remaining quietly under God in a relationship of rest, {he} did not lead and command with official authority by {using it to} seize plunder for himself, {or in order} to exist in a state that seems similar in comparative rank, virtue, particular power, acquirement; accomplishment and condition to {that of} a God. TAT
1 Thessalonians 1:5 For our good message did not come into you in merely a topical discourse, but also in strength by virtue of and in an undefiled life and in much confidence, in as much as you see what sort of men we have become among you for your sake. TAT
1 Thessalonians 1:6 And you became imitators of us, and of the Master (Lord), having received the teaching in the midst of pressure with a great deal of joy, in a sanctified life. TAT
1 Thessalonians 4:8 Consequently, the one that sets this aside is not rejecting man, but God and the one {Jesus} that gives his sanctified spirit to you. TAT
1 Timothy 3:16 So then, by consenting to {my} desire, of great importance is the one initiated into the sacred mystery of well-directed external piety, that which is rendered apparent in relation to ones’ external (behavior), {being} regarded as just or innocent in {your} mental disposition, looked at (from your past actions) by messengers (pastors),{worthy} to be heralded as a crier (of the gospel) in relation to foreign (non-Jewish) races, entrusted as {being} credible in relation to the inhabitants of the world, having repetitiously taken hold of a fixed position of dignity. TAT
Titus 3:4-6 4 But when the exceptionally moral character of God our Savior was employed and His fondness for mankind became visible, TAT
Titus 3:5 He saved us; not because the character or quality of our deeds was just and right. On the contrary, feeling pity for us, His mercy was expressed (in adequate supply to fill the need we had) thru a spiritually cleansing rebirth and an inwardly renewed, undefiled life (that was qualitatively different from that of the past);
Titus 3:6 which He copiously poured out upon us thru Jesus Christ our Savior. TAT
Hebrews 1:8-9 However, concerning the time for
which the Son has been, as it were, appointed, (i. e. during which it will
last)[1] He
{God} says, “Your throne, exalted King (Jesus the Magistrate), will be
completely established {as you move} into the age of majesty and ages that
follow. And in your kingdom, moral
integrity is the royal baton, free of hypocrisy, without delay {it will be}
setting {things} straight (with a just attitude). You have delight in being and living a life that is pure,
innocent, upright, and just and {you} detest contempt for {God’s} law; for this
reason God (the Supreme Deity), your God, has consecrated you to the Messianic
office by anointing you with the oil of extreme joy to share with your
fellow-partakers.” (TAT)
Hebrews 6:4 “… who have consciously tasted the heavenly gift (dooreás; gratuity) and have become sharers of an undefiled life (spirit)…” TAT
Hebrews 10:25 not deserting, or leaving behind the
gathering together with the motive and the purpose of betraying one’s
attachment to Jesus and to other believers, (i.e. - avoiding one’s own personal
responsibility as part of the body of Christ).
TAT
Hebrews 13:17 Be persuadable to the convincing arguments of those esteemed among you that lead the way; cease struggling {with them} because they keep themselves from becoming spiritually sluggish and unintelligent. For the sake of your immortal souls, they gladly provide you with whatever explanation is necessary when it is demanded of them, without grumbling out loud, because this would be harmful to you. TAT
1 Peter 3:8 – The end result of {the husband’s} precise aim is being of the same harmonious mind and intention {as his wife}, sympathetically feeling what she feels, loving {her} as a sister, compassionate, tenderhearted and humble-minded. TAT
1 Peter 3:15 When the Master, the one who anoints {you}, {when he} separates {you from evil} in your hearts {by} consecrating {and} making {you} morally unblemished, {make certain you} are always prepared to plea with or apologize to all that ask you for a reason, regarding the confidence that is in you; yet {do this} accompanied with gentleness, humility and respect. TAT
Jude 20 But you beloved, building yourselves upon (as a foundation) the more pure moral persuasion, moving toward superiority or preference for a morally blameless life. TAT
3 John 1:2 Beloved, my earnest desire for you, above all, is to help lead you by a direct path, in true and uncorrupted doctrine, just as your life is passing from one state to another, waxing strong in an expeditious journey. TAT
